This is an interesting loco but the execution of the photograph is also very clever. Georg has carefully controlled the depth of field and used a monochrome format to closely resemble the Swiss style of official photographs, published by both builders and railways, in the time when locos such as this were new.

Looks like an older version of the Pennsylvania Railroad "Centipede" with all those axles & wheels. Great shot, Georg, taking the time to do it right in black & white.
