The WC has one former ACR SD40 #6001 but also had five former ACR SD40-2's #6002-6006

My caption confused the SD40-2 with the SD40. Algoma Central acquired SD40s 180-182, 3 units. Nos. 180 and 182 were scrapped by 1990, 182 at least had been wrecked. No. 181 became WC 6001, the one of a kind unit on WC at the time (1995). Algoma Central also bought 6 SD40-2s, Nos. 183-188. No. 184 was wrecked and scrapped in 1993, and 183, 185-188 became WC 6002-6006 in 1995. Hope that eliminates the confusion of my original caption. (6006 lives on as WGN 6006.)
