Well they must've done extremely well in testing because you don't just order 1000+ for a locomotive merely considered only 'good'.

SD70M's are the worst pieces of junk on the railroad. They overheat, drop their load, their dynamics are worthless, they can't hold the rail, and they can't even make it on River Grade. GARBAGE. Why UP purchased so much of that trash is beyond me.
