Nice photo and story to go with it Evan. I am curious though - did the locomotive clear that small pick-up truck parked too close to the tracks? I would think that as close as it is - it could have received one heck of a "Key scratch" down the side! Heck - if I were the Engineer, I would have let it get the scratch if it was too close - "good neighbor" and "public relations" courtesy out the smokestack for that one... Lol!

The locomotive did clear the truck with plenty of space in between.

Nice photo of a special event. I immediately knew what they had done and thought it a great idea. Kudos to the historically minded crew to do such a great job recreating the past.
