Like many things on this line-- ghostly! The SP cars seem in good condition considering their age-- it would be nice if someone rescued them with a full restoration (they wouldn't have lasted anywhere but the desert!). Your photos continue to document this strange railway, seemingly lost in time.

Well - I can see that with a touch of paint, just a couple of rivets, nails, screws, and a couple of 2 axle trucks - these would look just like new and be just as useful...no sweat. A little Duct Tape too to fix what you couldn't at the time. Lol. That wear and tear of weathering will buff right out.....no problem.

Thanks for all the neat photos, this railroad is very interesting, it sure would make a great set for a western movie.

Of all the pictures of this line that have been on this site, this is easily the most melancholy.

What a great shot. Kinda looks like a watercolor landscape painting. Wow!
