I love the tickle rope structure to warn 'Brakemen of old' when an obstruction of some type was approaching. Don't see men riding the top of boxcars much these days eh??

I guess the Hwy 35 bridge had plenty of clearance. I'm a little surprised they even used them here. It is certainly an element of railroading that you don't see anymore.

Even basketball players on high cube cars probably wouldn't need to duck for that bridge!
