This bridge has caught my attention before--look at all that steel! Relative to the big rail bridges I usually see (mostly over the Mississippi River between its mouth and Vicksburg, MS), it appears to be massively overbuilt and/or spacially ineffecient. Wonder what it's Cooper E rating was / is.

Nice shot Rod. Rode over that bridge on an excursion from Ludlow to Danville KY back in the mid to late 80's with my mom, her brother, and Mike Hecht's folks. I forget the train's number board, but it was a N&W steam engine. I'd remember if I saw another pic of it.
