It was nice to see Conrail emerge, but the cost was huge. I miss the Lehigh Valley, Penn Central, but mostly the Lehigh & Hudson River. Rod, this picture is priceless. These railroads may be gone forever, but a few of the Alco's struggle to survive. Thanks for sharing.

I agree Rod. Great capture of a time past, and an era that was chock full of some great roads, and some great equipment. I miss those days we often spent at the "cut" getting shots of passing trains.
