Just another hour at work! Remember - Foresight can be 20/400 - Hindsight is always 20/20. Good Dispatchers make foresight 20/20 as well.

I love the photos that show the human element of railroading. I guess I'm not cut out to be a dispatcher, as I would need a bottle of aspirin, a calculator, and a Magic 8 Ball to get through the day.

You forgot the part where the Dispatcher steps out to smoke a cigarette at exactly the same time the northbound Brooklyn Z calls in for platform protection at Glendale. Yup, silence. Don't worry Mr. Valley Sub, we'll just sit here at CP Taylor and frog half of your railroad until you answer. I'm sure you wont mind :p
