Let's see, NS cosmetically restored the Wabash E8 in VMT's collection. CSX is sure to do the same with the RF&P E8, right?

I see that E unit has been picked over for parts. Time has not been kind to that SDP, hasn't it?

Thanks for the photo Trey. If ever a locomotive cried for just a cosmetic restoration and proper place in a museum, this is it.

I visited this museum over 10 years ago and remember crawling all over that SDP45. I remember there was a birds nest inside one of the electrical cabinets inside the cab. Hopefully it will one day be restored.
