Your not wrong... They are 2 gauges in this tracks 1.676mm (the trains are this gauge) and 1000mm

Very different from what we use here. Thank-you for pointing that out. I actually had to grab out my track gauge chart just to check again.

Not only that, but in addition the to broad- and metre-gauge networks, there's also a substantial standard-gauge network in Argentina!
