I don't believe that I have seen any direct head-on shots of this locomotive's paint scheme. I am reminded of the HUGE neon star atop Mill Mountain by the star above the pilot. My Mom is from Roanoke-- the "Star City of the South"-- and I can recall the many N&W trains spotted as a boy and the miniature train that ran through the Mill Mountain Zoo.
