A commuter cathedral! That is stunning...the moisture and light leave me speechless. The track work at this close range is mind-boggling. PCA nominated for subdued elegance.

Travis, superb shot! Eric, does this place look familiar to you? :-) (Travis, you sure it's April 10? I was in downtown Chicago then and it was a sunny day. The 9th, that day I was in a downpour in Rondout.)

Great photographic compositions are like answers to a Mensa test... hard for most of us to imagine, yet Travis - you always seem to have the answers! Well seen, well captured, and I might add, well played!

Absolutely fantastic, Travis. With all the wood next to the rails it reminds me of the wooden roller coasters at amusement parks. Thanks for sharing.

What an awesome picture! Also i'm guessing this is pretty close to where Elwood's apartment was in blues brothers??

Elwood's apartment is in a building on the south side of Van Buren Street in the Loop just east of the LaSalle/Van Buren station. - from - http://www.chicago-l.org/multimedia/blues/ So that would put his apartment on the other side of the loop. I need to watch that movie again.
