That must have been quite a different view from up there. I wonder how engineers liked the extra height these cabs brought ?

I knew that Southern Pacific dealt with the Krauss-Maffei for a bit, but I would have never believed it had I not seen it that D&RGW were smitten first. Great photo Bill.
