It is always a thrill to see a locomotive to emerge from the tunnel heading north toward Chattanooga. My family and I visit Tunnel Hill quite often and cannot wait till the Dalton Historical Society restores and opens up the Tunnel Hill Depot as a train museum. I am very happy the factory that stood next to the depot was removed when it ceased to operate. I suggest visiting the older W & A Tunnel next to the main line. It is something to see.
