Posted by Pete Greischar on February 27, 2015  The 1236 made it through the paint shop with all lights intact. I assume they were later cut down as well. One of the former WP/Chicago Missouri & Western GP40's made it through with it's nose mounted Mars light intact. It was later removed to make room for the WC shield.
