Taylor Yard was truly the Disney Land,of the SP.Living northern California at the time, it was always a treat when i was able to travel to L.A.,not only the center cab alco's but all the other things that only rarely traveled far from Taylor Yard.The big DD's,U-50's,GP-30's and a varying assortment of other odd ball rarities,that call this yard home.Thank You Mr.Blackwell,a good explanation of what i and others loved so much about this magical place.

An F-unit and two C-415s hauling a single boxcar and a caboose? That has got to be one of the most unusual consists I've ever seen. Very cool!
