Just watched The Station Agent last night. Brought back memories of when I was a kid and road the rails with my dad. He worked on the Susie Q all his life. I spent many days in the cabooses, RS engines and even in the cabs of some steam engines. Johnny Treen was my dad's coworker and friend of the family's. He and my Dad (AKA BUD or BUDDY) took many pictures over the years. Those were the days when this was allowed. We even ate over camp fires with the friendly Hoboes. Quite a lot of memories for an old man like me.
