It is so nice to see an old steamer on the high line without the additional use of a diesel to ruin the picture.

Beautiful photo, Mr. Lilly. These high trestles through the Appalachians are fascinating. When in KY, I enjoyed the ones on CSX's EK line, from Winchester to points southeast through the coalfields. Unfortunately, around the late 70s, someone removed the builder plates from the four highest bridges between Winchester and Ravenna. To think that they are out there in a collection or a garage still burns me up. They disappeared around the time that maintenance and painting were occurring on these structures, so I always wondered if an employee or contractor took them.
