Every time I see a picture of locomotives like these, I have good memories of seeing and hearing them back in the 50's(?) in Jacksonville, IL on the Wabash Railroad.

Loose the bell and bring back the mars-light on the C&NW unit. The mars-light was quite a sight at night, especially in a snow storm.
