Unless I am badly mistaken (which is always possible), those look like HTCR trucks reminiscent of the SD70 series. Has this unit been retro-fitted with newer trucks?

Nice shot, Kevin. But just to correct the history of this unit, it never ran as OWY/EMD/EMDX 9041. It went straight from EMD 3 to GMTX 9041. The unit which bore the OWY/EMD 9041 road number was a regular Oakway unit assigned to the AAR's Transportation Technology Center in Pueblo, CO.
