Those control stands are dumb in my opinion. There is no room. And you get out of the seat you have to gingerly squeeze around the brakes then squeeze past the stand. Desktop offers so much more floor space in those cabs. I don't see the point, it's not 1965 and if you need to switch, USE THE MIRROR.

Being a person with a 6'3" stature I respectfully disagree. As an engineer that values having more than exactly ONE seating position...I'll take my AAR Control Stand, please.
