Nice trip back in time. 58 Chev immediate left, 53-54 Fords curbside behind, followed by what looks like a 57 Olds curbside, 58 Ford coming up the street and a 56 Chev wagon on right by the Cable Car. Thanks for sharing !

If it is Kodachrome it is poorly processed. It's a classic image but the color could be much improved. My old Kodachromes scan and go through Photoshop wonderfully. The sign on the SP building was rather controversial, some folks really disliked it for rather obvious reasons. It alternated between the big SP logo and "The Friendly Railroad" which was interpreted locally as "The Fiendly Railroad".
