Wonderful photo, Joe. You really make me miss the days that C&O ran through central Kentucky along the now-abandoned Lexington Sub.

Back on Nov. 19 1976 I got a ride on the BigSandy #192 with engines 7511 & 7512 from Pikeville to CRR at Elkhorn City. The engineer even let me drive the train the last bit into Elkhorn City. We stopped the train in the yard. Took the engines to Pool Point bridge then going back into the yard. We turned the cab inside light on this was done to see the ground as the engines rolled back into the yard . Just used the engine brake all the way back. Had to keep the engines under 10 mph .
A while back someone put on Ebay the 7511 number board . I got it now. I never got a shot of this engine when I rode it for it was dark then. That's for posting and bringing back the memories.
