To our North American eyes, these are a strange looking diesel, resembling (slightly) the United Aircraft TurboTrain cab units. That being said, though I'm ALWAYS IN FAVOR of Locomotive Preservation. Glad to see such a thorough job seems to be being carried out. It's a SHAME that so many early US diesel models have been allowed to become "extinct."
