Where are all the SD70s heading to? Back to the lesser or had another railroad bought them?

So the new C4's are replacing all of the SD70M-2's or just some of them? Does anybody know where the SD70M-2's are being prepped to go to?

The SD70M-2's (they only had 11 of them) are going back to the leasing company. It is rumored NS wants them. Also most of the SD40-2's are also slated for short term lease to CSX. There will be 24 C4's on the property after the last ones arrive.

How old are these locomotives? If I look the paint scheme there is a lot rust and other stuff that makes me think they have been a true work horse of FEC

These particular models were brand new in late 2008. However the FEC is exposed to a lot of ocean salt and that may have contributed to the rust.
