Excellent!! You don't see photos of domes on N&W trains very often. You don't see many N&W locomotives running short-hood forward, either.

This was the first and only train I rode in the sleeper prior to Amtrak. I really treasure the memories of a being cozy in my bunk on a cold West Virginia night watching the CPLs change as the Geeps rounded yet another curve. Greatest sleep in the world was just around the corner.

This is a great catch, Marty. When I hung out at that same depot five years later, those platform canopies were gone.
