It's really nice to see new infrastructure as it relates to railroading. This is a great looking building with imagination put into the design phase.

I had high hopes for this station, and while the exterior looks great and the LED's go a long way towards improving the interior of the station, it's still, like Secaucus Junction station on the NEC, very cold, stark and baron inside. What do you say when a pair of straight escalators and stairs are the centerpiece of your building? Still - nice shot, Craig. Thanks for sharing.

This station was built for use by the Anaheim Angels and Ducks. Therefore when those teams are playing this will be used more.

While the station looks empty in this photo, keep in mind that if I was in here, that means that there was a lull between trains outside. Crowds ebb and flow through here depending upon the arrival times of trains. Also, there are a lot of trains each day (51 on weekdays - 22 Amtrak and 29 Metrolink - and 30 - 22 Amtrak and 8 Metrolink - on weekends when this photo was taken), so the crowds don't build up as they would if there were only 6 daily trains (as there was when this line was the Santa Fe's). And the buses run frequently enough, too, that passengers don't have to wait long. Once the restaurants are open, there will be more people spending time inside as well.

It appears that people are exiting out of a casino & coming down to the ground floor.
