I'm positive CSX is regretting abandoning the St Louis main from WV through southern OH. They really dropped the ball by dissecting a route that was a straight shot from St Louis to the east coast. Good job CSX!

Yeah....but I think that since acquiring their share of Conrail, the pain of the St. Louis decison has been eased.

Actually by that point,the other road in town was the L&N,not the Monon as it had merged into the L&N in 1971.
