Anything but overcast - nicely captured - though, I may have walked to the right to obscure that dang van. You certainly captured the rain well!

Good photo Kevin - (if you can call watching the crew get soaked "good"? I feel for them man - I've been there, done that. You can get warn and start to dry out in the cab though. It does take a while..but you get warm pretty quick. I also agree about trying to hide that van a little better. The rain turned out very visible against that black tender though. Also smart of you to be prepared with the rain gear too.

Unfortunately folks, what you see is actually the best available angle on this scene. Just slightly out of view to the left of the hydrant is a parking lot full of colorful cars...and some other, less-than-desirable clutter. There is also a line of parked cars just out of view on the right, which block a clear shot. This angle offers the best perspective of the crew at work under the trying circumstances. :o)
