To me a train is not a train unless it has a "cab" on the rear.

Sure was a sad day when the railroads decided to drop the caboose from the rear of the trains. I know it's all about money and operating costs, but I for one sure do miss seeing them!

I agree Jeff, though you'll see them used daily on the NS Pocahontas. Many of the long backup moves way up the coal branches still use them in WV and VA.
