What an amazing piece of history you documented here Jimmy. Great information you provided about this locomotive's service history. A beautiful restoration as well, too bad they aren't restoring it to operate under it's own power - then the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum would have a true operating history display.

This is a beautiful restoration. I sincerely hope the museum is going to protect its investment by putting this beauty under roof.

Sid, currently the locomotive is in the shop out of the elements. Once it is out on permanent display it will be under a covering by the Calera depot.

Different and beautiful! Very well worth the cost and effort to restore her.

This ALCO HH900 nearly resembles that of a Fairbanks Morse. This is a unique Locomotive, with a superior paint scheme. Thanks for the photo & information, Jimmy.
