Unless it was in a yard full of a hundred of the same, I can't imagine anyone exclaiming something along the lines of, "Boss said to get the 2301 for the next train out, but, dude, I can't find it."

And, I will add that I am not mocking the livery: my model railroad freelance traction company has since the late 1980s used similar except NYC jade green body with red & white end stripes. It is bright, cheerful, and you will notice it, no question about that!
