BNSF dropped the "8" from the flanks and numberboards on these units--are they due to retire them soon? The numbers swap no doubt makes room for new units.

The '8' was dropped from the numbering of these units in order to make room for more GEs that BNSF was purchasing. These newer units occupy the 8200 series, where the SD75Is once were.
