I always loved the look of these locomotives with their cone shaped smokebox door, like the bavarian (S3/6)locomotives built by Maffei, good looking from every angle. By the way, is the 4-6-2 of the same design as bavarian S3/6s ?

Was the Brotan boiler effective in service ?

I unfortunately have no further knowledge of these locomotives. But I am sure that the 310 has nothing to do with the S 3/6, which was built by Maffei in Munich. Georg
