I don't know the reason for the shorter tank, but i assume SOO had some reason for wanting it. This unit was built in 1974 without dynamic brakes but was retrofitted with dynamic brakes earlier in 1988. Posted by Cristiano Oliveira on September 4, 2014  Interesting...
