Ah, the "good old days" of railfanning CSX. I remember as a teenager in the early 1990's, one of these sitting at the old station in Sanford, FL. around the bend from the Auto-Train terminal. It was cool enough to see a U30C, but when I got around the rear of the unit, I realized that the door on the rear of the long hood had been cannibalized from an old L&N unit, and still had the center part of the L&N decal on it. Man, do I miss the early days of CSX!
