Not sure the gauge they run in Mozambique, but given the low coupler and swing mounting, I'm guessing it's a narrow gauge. Probably the cape gauge.

Wow, that's quite a consist and payload. Great capture. Thanks for sharing!

I'm happy to see this shipment. Mozambique has been harried with conflict for so long, hopefully this is a sign of better times to come.

Mozambique? Wow. Those may be some of the nicest locomotives in Africa right now. Seems like these former Portuguese colonies (Mozambique, Brazil) get some of the most colorful locomotives.

Mozambique have narrow gauge, the operator Vale of Brasil in first time send to there some EMD DDM45 and GT26, them bring back again the DDM45.

They're cape guage. Integrated Nacala Logistics Corridor (CLN), is a consortium that is 80 per cent owned by the Brazilian mining giant Vale, and 20 per cent by Mozambique's publicly owned port and rail company, CFM. These are for a new coal mining venture.

Yes, these units were ordered by Vale to its project of coal in Mozambique

Come on guys, photos of prior CLN shipments over the last 3 months on most US railfan sites, including this. Above photo is Tranche 4 of at least 8 shipments of 10 locos. Just Google CLN
