What a fantastic photo! How great would it be to live on the waterfront AND have trains zipping past? It just doesn't get any better.

Its worth mentioning a severe winter storm totally destroyed the track over 140 yards directly behind the train! Both lines were left hanging in the air! You can just make out a new section of concrete wall at the rear of the train. Pre cast concrete sections weighing 4.5 tons each were installed to create a "ballast box" for the track formation. This was on top of more than 6000 tonnes of concrete and about 250 tonnes of steel re-bar. Between the waves you can also see buckled shipping containers. These had their tops cut out and were filled with stone to make a temporary break water whilst the repairs were carried out. The works took 7 weeks to complete.
