If I understand you correctly Georg, I find it incredible that passenger trains will be traveling nearly 75 miles per hour up & down a 4% grade. I traveled by rail from the Zurich station to Innsbruck in 1977 and was impressed by not seeing one piece of scrap paper on the station’s tracks.

Yes, that's right, the planned velocity over this bridge will be up to 120 km/h (nearly 75 miles per hour). The trains will travel the ramp of 4.0 % only downhill. Georg
