Posted by Bryan Jones on July 25, 2014  this unit was built new as L&N U28B #2504 and later uprated to 3000hp and reclassed U30B by the railroad. It is currently owned by Ed Bowers of Vintage Locomotive Inc (VLIX) and is stored with many of his other historic diesels in Oak Ridge,TN.
