May as well be 1951, the car and truck are the only giveaways, great shot.

Great angle of a huge, beautiful beast. The muted color and the hazy light make this shot more "real." I like it a lot Steve.

The more I look at this photo, the more I see and like. The wall of trees in the background tell you that the 'A' is at home in the mountains on home rails, you caught the mighty 1218 with BOTH sets of drivers in the classic rods down position, and the photo was taken in the city of Iaeger where framed photographer O. Winston Link took one of his famous N&W night time photos.
