Why? Is the line isolated for some reason?

I don't know too much about it. I looked around on the net and found that Bay Colony had a 25 year lease to operate the line and it was not renewed when it expired. I know some of its locomotives went to the Grafton and Upton, but this is a very strange location to leave a locomotive. Maybe someone else could shed some light on it.

The customers Bay Colony serviced on the line were reduced almost yearly. Eventually the last customer opted out or the business closed (I don't recall) so the line was abandoned and leases not renewed.
