Nice photo of an exciting event. This looks to be an outstanding museum. I personally would like being up close a personal to those crisp black and red locos. As a turntable operator myself, I am intrigued by the commodious turntable control building that houses not only the operator but the turntable motor as well. This very practical solution protects the motor from the elements and makes it easily accessible for maintenance. That and the pit stairway are very sensible ideas that I know of no application in the USA.
