The stacks of rocks in the forground are interesting. Any ideas why they are stacked that way?

@Ry As far as I know they have no special purpose. Each time I visit this place they look different. I guess they are only there because it has plenty of loose rocks and the crowd likes to play with them. :) @Jim It's a good place and even in wintertimes reachable without ski or snowshoes (ok, it was serious work to get there without them. the snow depth is at some points 1m or more which is quite difficult to pass without snowshoes...) @

The stacks of rocks are called in Swiss German "Steimannli" (little mens of stone). While they have in certain parts of the world a culturous/religious background, in this case they are just an old form of marking hiking trails.
