The loco is a long way from home by the looks of things, judging from the West Highland Terrier motif on the side, this being at the time somewhat of a trademark motif for the then British Rail Scottish region. Looking at the derailed truck I wonder if it needed swapping out for a replacement, looks a little bent and twisted to me...
