Around the time of your shot, I was headed from Auburn to Mobile to play a band job. When we passed over the Selma line, a pair of Fs had just passed below with their train. It was a stark scene, as fire had ravaged the piney woods a few weeks earlier. I had my camera, and my buddies might have considered giving chase, but I had no clue how to get around in that part of Alabama. One of my most painful near-misses...
