I would be surprised if this one returns to service as an electric unit or hauled coaching stock.
The cab was hit by another unit after the other unit hit a slip a few years back in New Zealand around a place called Plimmerton. Thankfully no one was killed in the incident

Edward - Thanks for the info re the side collision, appreciated. I believe this one (and one or two others) are for spares only, but I stand corrected on that.
