I always really enjoy your finds Jeff. I am sure vandals broke off the stack and let it be where it landed. I will add my hope that it will be saved somehow.

A rather depressing shot, though its good someone documented it. Never know when something like that will be gone.

Sad to think that the last time I saw this once graceful lady was when I was maybe 7-8 years old, under steam doing what she did until her retirement. I recall that day, lots of snow falling, quite cold and dreary, my dad and my older brothers watching glued to the sights and smells of coal burning right at arms length.
