Beautiful photo! Would this be north of Danang where the automobile road goes over the Hi Van Pass? Been there, done that but it was in 1971 and there was a war on. A rather decrepit steam loco ran from Hue to Danang on this route and it had huge poles in front of it attached to a set of trucks so as to detonate any mines planted by the North Vietnamese Army. My only photos of this never came back from the developer. Have both driven over the pass in a jeep which was pretty hairy and flown over it in a Huey. Thanks for posting.
